Windows 8 Debuting Later This Year

Microsoft is reportedly working hard to get Windows 8 completed and out in time to capitalize on the ever important holiday sales market later this year. Windows 8 will also let Microsoft give Apple iPads some competition for the 2012 holidays.

From MediaPost, "“The Redmond, Washington-based company … aims to take back sales lost to the iPad and reinvigorate the sluggish PC market,” reports [URL="http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-03-19/microsoft-said-to-finish-windows-8-in-summer-with-october-debut.html"]Bloomberg[/URL]. Critically, “the initial rollout will include devices running Intel Corp. and ARM Holdings Plc chips, making good on Microsoft’s promise to support both standards.”
