'Deal Fatigue' Might be to Blame for Groupon's Traffic Decrease

An interesting report from Mediapost today shared statistics from Experian Hitwise and quotes from a Pricegrabber customer based survey that all point to 'deal overload' for a lot of consumers. Groupon's traffic decreased by 50% between the 2nd week in June and 3rd week in August. Even though Living Social reported an increase, "overall traffic to sites in Experian's "Daily Deal and Aggregator" category declined 25%, suggesting that a broader trend may indeed be afoot."
