Being avid users of social media and sharing, I figured I should share this here with you all. I was shocked to see this news piece. It is a video that explains there is software out there that enables 'bad guys' to locate where you were when you took pictures with your smartphone and then posted them online. The news segment actually gave a smartphone with a camera to a mom as part of research and was able to pin point not only the house they lived in, but their daughter's room, the spot on the nearby playground where the little girl liked to play, etc.

It is some scary stuff, and can all be prevented by disabling your smartphone's GPS when taking photos.
