Erika, I didn't realize that Pinterest in by invite only. I am on there too and I haven't done too much with it. More because of lack of time, not lack of want. I am shocked that it is invitation only because I have been getting follow requests growing by the day from mainstream friends and not the usual marketers and early adopters. I see Facebook friends (lots of fellow moms and friends from high school) that say they are totally addicted to it. I did see an article a few weeks ago that it drives more traffic than Google +, but now obviously traffic is growing and growing as evidenced by the growing amount of contacts I see on there and media articles about it. I love the top 10 tips, I am going to use that for sure when building my boards up. I am also planning on using them for my business, I think that pinning our costume and costume ideas, or Halloween party ideas, etc. will be a huge hit! Now, does anyone have several extra hours they can give me? LOL I need them to spend on Pinterest daily!

I second that! I would love a few extra hours in the day. Pinterest would be a great test for your business! I bet it would be a huge hit with your audience.

Itís amazing how it has gained such popularity and it is still by invite only...

Google+ was the last big invite-only social networking site that seemed to work out, but it's still far behind Facebook in terms of users and traffic. I just received my Pinterest invite last week, so I'm still new to the system, as well. It seems like a useful site, but I'm curious if it will really surpass Flickr or even the most recent picture networking site, Instagram.

I saw first hand the power of Pinterest today when I made a business page for my costume website. I posted under 30 pictures and the repinning and likes were ginormous! I am really happy with the response and plan on adding much more pictures and ideas on my business Pinterest page. I have never seen such a response to anything before!

I saw that! It's like the Zuckerberg Google+ account all over again

I also found this article quite interesting. Like Myspace and Facebook (and of course, Twitter now), Pinterest seems to have a lot of porn clones. Be careful out there!
