The Next Important Thing (after Twitter) is...

The Next Important Thing (after Twitter) is...FourSquare (or GoWalla).

Nicole Haye sent me a note saying that I introduced her to Twitter, she wanted to know what was the next big thing?

The thing that has caught my attention is location based social. I am playing with FourSquare and GoWalla. It is a morph between Twitter/Facebook updates, GPS and Yelp reviews.

I had my first FourSquare meet up this weekend. I 'foursquared' my location at the Florida Panthers Hockey game. A FourSquare friend… Continue

Wow! Twitter feed is live on Google

This is huge news and a significant change in our business. Watch out for Skittles style Spam and a flood of affiliate links. If you missed it, a few months ago Skittles added a Twitter feed to their home page and they featured any tweets that included 'Skittles', within days a bunch of pranksters were writing tweets with cuss words or affiliate links and capitalizing on the Skittles home page exposure.

I'm anxious to see how/if Google will deal with this.

Think I previously posted the below message on my own wall and am afraid you didn't receive it. Hope you don't get this twice.

"Thanks Jay!! Really looking to immerse myself with new internet marketing knowledge and this club you have created looks like a great way to do it. Will make sure and spread the word with anyone else interested in this industry.

As far as wordpress themes, the overall strategic theme would be ideal. Wouldn't want to have a great looking theme if its slow to load, not SEO optimized or anything else that would fall short of helping to create a professional looking blog. Any suggestions are much appreciated!"
