Will you be using the new Facebook chat?

I have to admit I'm not so big on video chat. I use it for special occasions of chatting with friends and relatives that live far away and we don't get to see often. We mostly use it for our daughter to see and chat with her grandparents and vice versa. So I might use it for that sort of thing, but I don't need to use it to chat to friends, I am perfectly happy typing to them back and forth. No need for business meetings to be done that way either. How would I multi-task and do all the things that I normally do when on the phone if there was video involved? I just don't see what's the big deal? I wonder if they would have made the whole big deal about the roll out if Google+ hadn't launched first? Please weigh in with your opinions! I want to know if you like to use video chat and how you use it.

About Facebook's Video Chat powered by Skype From Mashable:

Facebook video chat is real: the social network has unveiled its rumored video chat product, powered by Skype.
“A few months ago, we started working with Skype to bring video calling to Facebook,” Facebook announced on its blog. “We built it right into chat, so all your conversations start from the same place. To call your friend, just click the video call button at the top of your chat window.”
