Word of Mouth & Social Media Gaining Even More Influence

As marketers, and specifically internet marketers here on The InternetMarketigClub,org, we all know the benefits of WOM and word of mouth through social media, the key for marketers is learning how to influence those conversations and capitalize on ways that social media can increase sales and engagement.

According to new research from Microsoft Advertising, in conjunction with the Keller Fay Group, which collected 24,724 interviews from respondents ages 18-54 throughout 2010. Nearly 50% of consumers 18-54 say they are very likely to purchase items based on word of mouth.
