Google Panda Was Refreshed on August 20th

In case web traffic has changed in the last few days, it would be time to start analyzing page views and search queries since the Panda algorithm was refreshed on Monday. Google issued a [URL="https://twitter.com/google/status/238316733197328384"]tweet[/URL] about the "minor" refresh stating, "Panda data refresh this past Monday. ~1% of queries noticeably affected. Search Engine Land reported: "Google has said the Panda updates will be [URL="http://searchengineland.com/google-further-penguin-update-jolts-to-come-panda-is-smoother-monthly-130804"]smoother and more consistent[/URL] going forward, unlike the Penguin update, which will be more [URL="http://searchengineland.com/google-further-penguin-update-jolts-to-come-panda-is-smoother-monthly-130804"]jolting[/URL].The previous Panda update was version [URL="http://searchengineland.com/google-panda-update-3-9-128529"]3.9 on July 24th[/URL], so just about a month ago."

In addition, the author of the article, Barry Schwartz stated that he knows of at least one site that recovered from the original Panda algorithm change after this last refresh, so that is good news that it is possible that some of the changes include adding back in sites that were wrongly penalized or have fixed the issues.
