What's New in Social Media This Week?

This week in social media saw more changes across all social media channels, as usual, but some were very major changes indeed. Here at the Internet Marketing Club News, we already featured some of the most notable changes with [URL=""]Facebook[/URL], [URL=""]Google+[/URL]. Here is some more on this past week's social media outlook:

[URL=""]Experience More Expanded Tweets[/URL]: “When you expand Tweets containing links to partner websites, you can now see content previews, view images, play videos and more.”

[URL=""]Facebook Opens the App Center[/URL]: The [URL=""]App Center[/URL] is a “place for people to find great social apps on the web and mobile.”

[URL=""]Bitly Shares Keyboard Shortcuts[/URL]: Bitly users can “pick up some speed while performing some of the most common actions” with these shortcuts.

[URL=""]Klout’s iPhone App Gets a Big Update[/URL]: There are several new features. Users can now enter any Twitter handle and quickly find that user’s Klout score.

[URL=""]Facebook Announces a New Ad Exchange[/URL]: “Facebook announced a new ‘real-time bidding’ ad exchange system for buying ads on the network.”

The Social Media Examiner, which helps outline and review each week in social media also features some tools and applications worth checking out, like [URL=""][/URL]: An online platform that makes it extremely simple to build and curate a portfolio of your best work online.
