Google Semantic Search Encourages People to Search More

Google is reporting that their Knowledge Graph is making people search more. The new search feature was launched last month and the purpose is to provide more results based on the different topics and ideas that the user might be looking for. Google's Amit Singhal says that more searchers are being performed because users are intrigued and their interest is peaked by the new search result possibilites. He goes on to say that this benefits other sites as well because it means that people are visiting more sites.
