Google Webmaster Tools Undergoes Spring Cleaning

Google's Webmaster Tools products and services have undergone some spring cleaning and was announced yesterday on the [URL="http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2012/04/webmaster-tools-spring-cleaning.html"]Webmaster Central Blog[/URL]. Last week, The Internet Marketing News reported on [URL="http://www.internetmarketingclub.org/entry.php/444-Google-Spring-Cleaning"]Google's application[/URL] spring cleaning, removing and retiring some services, applications and products. This week, Webmaster Tools is also getting spruced up with some of the services being removed or retired.

From Google: "In order to keep bringing you improvements, we occasionally review each of our features to see if they’re still useful in comparison to the maintenance and support they require. As a result of our latest round of spring cleaning, we'll be removing the Subscriber stats feature, the Create robots.txt tool, and the Site performance feature in the next two weeks."
