Social Media Eye Tracking Study

[COLOR=#474747]Mashable and [URL="http://eyetrackshop.com/"]EyeTrackShop[/URL],teamed up to study where people look at on social media profile pages with some very interesting results of where peoples' eyes lead when they are on social media sites and how it differs from site to site as well.

[COLOR=#474747][I]The study used the webcams of 30 participants to record their eye movements as they were shown profile pages from [URL="http://mashable.com/category/facebook"]Facebook[/URL], Google+, LinkedIn, Flickr, [URL="http://mashable.com/follow/topics/youtube"]YouTube[/URL], Klout, Reddit, Digg, Tumblr, Twitter, StumbleUpon and Pinterest at 10-second intervals.
