Expect Less Email from Facebook

Rate this Entry
Facebook just rolled out a new feature, and for a change this feature actually saves you time and doesn't have anything to do with your privacy settings. Facebook alerts came up today notifying users of a change in their email frequency. The message says
"Control how much email you get from Facebook
You are currently receiving only important updates and summary emails about stories you may have missed. You can uncheck the box to restore your original settings and customize individual email notifications."

It automatically opts you into the less email frequency, but gives users an easy option to switch back to individual emails.

Do you like this new option? Would you rather be notified immediately of your Facebook alerts or do you like the digest option?
